Tips to Live Courageous
Relationships
Sometimes those closest to us can hold us back the most. Take an inventory of the people in your life and ask yourself these questions:
- Who supports me in my goals and dreams?
- Who drains my energy?
- Who do I need to have a serious conversation with?
- Who do I need to add to my circle for added support?
- Who do I need to limit how much time I spend with them?
We all crave connection, love and support. You should actively seek those to help you rise and live the life that you want.
Physical
One thing I know for sure is when you push yourself physically and try new things, you discover a whole new level of personal growth that you can’t find any other way.
Find your courage and ask yourself these questions:
- What have I always wanted to try?
- When I felt my most powerful, what was I doing? How can I do more of that?
- Am I doing my best to take care of my body?
- What am I missing out on because I haven’t felt in shape or ready?
Be honest with yourself and decide where you’ve been holding back because of your physical state and emotional fears. When you push yourself physically, you’ll tap into a confidence you never knew you had!
Career
Self-doubt is a big deal killer. If you don’t believe in yourself, you’ll miss out on the promotion, the new client, and all the rewards that come from a successful career or business.
Find your courage and ask yourself these questions:
- What have I missed out on because I doubted my skills?
- What am I absolutely great at that I never really tell anyone because I don’t want to sound like I’m bragging?
- Will I feel satisfied if I continue doing what I’m doing for another 5 years?
We spend most of our days working in some capacity. Pushing through your fears to become the expert you know you’re meant to be is the key to a successful, fulfilling career.
